Jana Norris
Born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Jana attended the Alberta College of Art and Design and received a BFA in Ceramics. Her art is predominantly in the medium of clay but she enjoys painting and other mixed media work. Jana has been instructing art for the City of Calgary, for the last 20 years and recently started instructing at Work Shop Studios. In her down time she enjoys volunteering at the Flames’ Rotary House providing respite care for terminally-ill children. What Jana enjoys most about working at the Art Centres and Work Shop Studios is to see students excited about trying art techniques that are new to them.
