Sheila Schaetzle
Born on the northern shores of New Brunswick. Acrylic is her choice of medium after exploring all mediums over twenty-plus years. Her love of reading and writing has been a consistent part of her development. She brings what she has learned to the studio and the classroom. Sheila's art is inspired by the colours in nature, the open skies, the depth of field, and movement in the trees. Sometimes nostalgic. She often paints from memory, combining representational imagery with abstraction. Each subject has the potential to become a series; but exploration is what she truly enjoys.
